{N}ame: Grimsley
{A}ge: 23
{G}ender: Male
{W}hereabouts: Nimbasa City, Unova
{B}irthdate: October 15, 1988
{T}rainer class: Elite Four
{P}okemon: Liepard, Scrafty, Bisharp, Krookodile, Sharpedo, Drapion
{H}istory:
Grimsley was born to a distinguished and rich family. He grew up very privileged and without having to lift so much as a finger or leave his dark room until, that is, his family fell to ruin not long before he was the age to start his pokemon journey.
With his father trying to pick up the pieces of a shattered company and his mother leaving both him and his father behind, Grimsley's father figured that Grimsley needed to venture out into the world and that the pokemon world could support Grimsely better than he could at the time.
Grimsley then began his journey as a pokemon trainer. Along the way, he developed an affinity for dark types - pokemon that he felt understood the dark, twisted feelings he kept inside of himself all too well. In fact, the first pokemon he caught was a Purrloin which he evolved and still has in his main team. He considers his Liepard as one of his best friends.
As his journey progressed, he was victorious numerous times. He was so victorious that he began cocky and began betting on whether he'd win or lose, developing a really bad gambling habit.
But, nevertheless, the Pokemon League heard about all of Grimsley's success as a Trainer and approached him about a position as an Elite Four. Grimsely accepted for three reasons:
1. As a way to restore his family's status,
2. As a way to challenge the strongest trainers and prove his prowess.
And 3. As a way to pick up women. "You do know I'm a member of the Elite Four, right? ;)"
{P}ersonality:
Grimsley is smug and quick-witted, but he has the tendency to get bored very easily. He tries to be a "good loser" but really hates losing. He'll respect anyone who beats him.
He has a very large gambling addiction and loves the rush it gives him just like how he loves the rush of a pokemon battle.
He also is quite the womanizer. Even the majority of his pokemon team is female and in his own words, "Girls just can't get enough of me."
Deep down though, he has this darkness inside of him that he doesn't really want anyone to see. He tries to hide it with the light of victory.
{C}reator: Mm, I play a certain Galactic boss over on that Poketumblr thing~
{S}how me your skills:
The lights of Nimbasa drew him in. He couldn't help it.
Everyone always assumed Grimsley was some osrt of Vampire. They always assumed he liked to keep himself inside, but he was, in fact, exacty the opposite. He loved the lights of the amusement park. He loved the lights of casinos. He loved the way a girl would just light up when she smiled. He loved the light of victory.
He knew it was bad of him. He knew he shouldn't gamble away his hard-earned money. He had earned it after facing challenger after challenger at the Pokemon League.
But he was going crazy.
If Shikimi was here, she'd knock some sense into him.
If Lady Caitlin was here, she'd call him an idiot.
If Marshal was here, he'd probably say something about how "Alder wouldn't do this or how "Alder wouldn't approve of your behavior" and then drag him away from Nimbasa as a whole.
But there was one thing keeping him from leaving. His eyes lit up as he watched the score of Nimbasa's Basketball game. It was down to the final five seconds. Nimbasa was down by one basket. They had the ball. If they made it, they'd win the game. The center shoots -
And he scores!
If anything, the one thing keeping him from leaving was victory.
He had bet on the right team yet again.
