{N}ame: Flint
{A}ge: 21
{G}ender: Male
{W}hereabouts: Sunyshore City, Sinnoh. Born in Lavaridge Town, Hoenn but moved at an early age.
{B}irthdate: July 27, 1989
{T}rainer class: Elite Four member
{P}okemon: Lopunny, Steelix, Rapidash, Infernape, Flareon, Magmortar. Rest are in the box.
{H}istory: His parents moved to Sunyshore from Lavaridge when he was four, and from then, he continued his life in Sinnoh. He began preschool in mid-October and that is where he and Volkner met, slowly becoming friends. Flint’s father, being a business man, often traveled, leaving Flint and his mother at home alone often. He did, however, also visit, and Flint looked up to him very much because he was so successful and dedicated.
When Flint was seven, Buck was brought into the family, and Flint’s father stopped traveling up until Buck was a year old. After that, he began traveling again, visiting less and less until he scarcely began phoning Flint’s mother over the phone. Flint was beginning to realize that his father didn’t want to be around anymore, but he didn’t understand why. He adored his father and enjoyed being around him very much when he was at home. To avoid being vulnerable in front of everyone else, he only talked about his feelings to Volkner, who didn’t judge him in the least. His mother, however, still believed that her husband would eventually come back. He would send money to the family every month, and with it Flint’s mother began to spend it on herself, in order to make herself feel more attractive so that the rest of the male population would shower her with attention. This was because she knew in the very back of her mind that somehow, her own husband didn’t seem to want her anymore.
As depressing as the situation was, Flint never fell into a state of depression - this experience just changed him. He started looking to women to feel needed, so he could feel attention that his mother never gave him. Soon he began growing cocky because of his sexual experiences, beginning to clash with Volkner throughout high school because of their different views. Still, they were very close.
After high school, Volkner had taken up the city gym and Flint decided that he would aim for the Elite Four. He loved battling and Pokemon, but a part of him knew that he wanted to become famous so his father would come back for him. He didn’t know, and still doesn’t, that his father is with another woman, and that they are making a family. Upon realizing that his father really won’t come back, he lets the issue go and rarely thinks about it unless something sparks his memory or if he is asked. Despite all of this, Flint keeps a reasonably positive attitude for someone whose childhood was very rocky.

{S}how me your skills:
The bright blue sky contrasted with the single puffy cloud floating in it. There was only a lone cloud, hovering over the sun. If it weren’t for that damned cloud, the entire atmosphere would look like summer. He liked summer. He liked the warmth and the energy and excitement the season brought.
The best thing he liked about the sun was the way it made everyone happy. People would be frolicking on the beach, laughing with carefree ease. Although he was like that in winter regardless, with a permanent tan to prove he was a “summer” kind of person, it was slightly forced in the cold months. The warmth fed him life. It gave people the opportunity to look their best, feel their best, and love the best.
It also gave him hope. Hope to see that one single cloud float away. Then he could indulge in the full power of the sun and its happiness.
He looked down at the Flareon sleeping in his lap, and smiled. He stroked his fur softly and said, "Come on, Flareon. Today's a great day to battle!"
